How to Make an Awesome Indoor Cat Wall for Your Feline Friends

Do you have a cat that loves to climb and explore? Creating an indoor cat wall can be a fun and exciting project for both you and your furry friend. Not only will it provide your cat with a new way to play and exercise, but it can also help keep them entertained and happy.

Materials Needed

For the Cat Wall:

  • Wooden shelves

  • Carpet or sisal rope

  • Brackets

  • Screws

  • Drill

  • Level

For Decoration:

  • Cat toys

  • Catnip

  • Scratching posts

  • Blankets or cushions

Building the Cat Wall

Start by measuring the space where you want to install the cat wall. Then, attach the brackets to the wall at the desired height using a drill and screws. Next, place the wooden shelves on top of the brackets and secure them in place. You can cover the shelves with carpet or sisal rope to provide traction for your cat.

Decorating the Cat Wall

Once the cat wall is built, you can add decorations to make it more inviting for your cat. Hang cat toys from the shelves, sprinkle catnip on the surfaces, and place scratching posts nearby. You can also add blankets or cushions for your cat to lounge on.

Benefits of an Indoor Cat Wall

Having an indoor cat wall can provide your cat with a safe and stimulating environment to play and explore. It can help satisfy their natural instincts to climb and perch, while also giving them a designated space to scratch and play. Plus, it can add a fun and unique element to your home decor.

Conclusion

Creating an indoor cat wall is a great way to keep your cat entertained and happy. With just a few materials and some creativity, you can build a fun and functional space for your feline friend to enjoy.

This is a simple, no-sew DIY kennel bed project that anyone can accomplish.  I timed myself when making my pooch this DIY kennel bed. It actually took me about forty-two minutes from start to finish. My almost eight-year-old boxer has to be placed in her dog's kennel during thunderstorms, or else she simply goes loco. We purchased two different kennel mats for her, but for some unknown reason, she doesn't like either of them. Instead of her using them to lay on, she wads them up, and literally kicks them to the corner of her kennel. Since Princess (my dog) isn't getting any younger, she really doesn't need to be lying on the hard floor of the kennel. So, I came up with this DIY kennel bed idea for her. The length and width of my dog's kennel is 54 inches x 37 inches. So, I cut out two pieces of soft material that size, then I cut strips along the ...
