Why Shih Tzus Make Great Indoor Pets

Shih Tzus are the perfect furry friends to have in your home. Here's why:

Low Exercise Needs

Shih Tzus don't require a lot of exercise, so they are great for indoor living. A short walk or some playtime indoors is usually enough to keep them happy and healthy.

Small Size

These little pups are small in size, making them perfect for apartment living or homes with limited space. They don't need a big yard to run around in, so they are great for city dwellers.

Low Shedding

Shih Tzus have a coat that doesn't shed much, which is great for keeping your home clean. Regular grooming is still important to keep their coat looking nice, but you won't find hair all over your furniture.

Friendly and Affectionate

Shih Tzus are known for their friendly and loving nature. They make great companions and are always up for cuddles and playtime. They are great with kids and other pets, making them a perfect addition to any family.

Easy to Train

These intelligent little dogs are easy to train, making them a great choice for first-time dog owners. They are eager to please and pick up on commands quickly, making training a breeze.

Conclusion

Shih Tzus are the perfect indoor pets for many reasons. Their low exercise needs, small size, low shedding coat, friendly nature, and easy trainability make them a great choice for anyone looking for a furry companion to share their home with.

Peanut butter oatmeal dog treats

Peanut butter oatmeal dog treats Today, I am super excited to share my techniques for making another truly wholesome dog treat with you. After-all, your furry companions deserve healthy food, so that they can be their best selves. These pup treats are the perfect snack to make ahead of time for your cuddly pooch as a reward for their love and companionship, obedience, potty-training, or for any other training in general.  My fur baby seems to think that the treats taste better when they're made in different cute shapes. So, I use three different cookie cutters when I make these dog treats. Plus, using different cookie cutter sizes also allows me to make good use of the leftover dough pieces. The three shapes that I am using for this recipe are a gingerbread man, a star, and a flower-shaped cookie cutter. (I use regular cookie cutters to make mine.) If you don't have any cookie cutters, that's okay too. After rolling out the dough, cut it into squared-shaped pieces, or use a...
